For the first time, Black Sherif and Fireboy DML have joined forces on a song, delivering a deeply reflective and soul-stirring track titled So It Goes. Co-produced by Samsney and Loudaa, the mid-tempo record is a fusion of both artists’ usual patterns. Known for their ability to evoke raw emotions through music, Black Sherif and Fireboy DML pour their hearts into this track, creating a profound narrative about perseverance, love, and the realities of life.

Black Sherif opens the song with his signature storytelling approach, recounting his journey from humble beginnings. He reflects on his struggles and the sacrifices made along the way, emphasizing the importance of loyalty and gratitude. His poignant lyrics, “If you see the light remember that I walked with you, when you were just a lonely lover, don’t forget about me so soon,” serve as a heartfelt reminder of shared experiences and the transient nature of relationships. His distinct vocal delivery, laced with raw emotion, adds a deeply personal touch to the track, making his message even more impactful.

In the second verse, Fireboy DML delivers an introspective perspective, further amplifying the song’s emotional depth. He speaks on the loneliness that often comes with ambition, the relentless pursuit of success, and the unyielding determination to provide for his loved ones. His lyrics highlight the daily grind and sacrifices required to make a dream a reality: “Life is a lonely road, man needs to work every day for money, and I will never stop working till I see my mama smiling.” Fireboy’s soulful delivery complements Black Sherif’s evocative storytelling, creating a perfect synergy.

Beyond its introspective lyrics, So It Goes is a sonically rich composition. Samsney and Loudaa craft an intricate soundscape, incorporating gentle percussion, melancholic guitar riffs, and ambient synths that enhance the song’s reflective mood. The production remains subtle yet impactful, allowing both artists’ voices and emotions to take center stage. The mid-tempo rhythm provides a soothing yet thought-provoking atmosphere, making the track easy to listen to while carrying a powerful message.
