Port Harcourt, Nigeria – Renowned Afro-fusion artist and cultural advocate Chief Priest, also known as the Chief Priest of Abekulan, is excited to announce the release of his second studio album, “King JaJa Disciple,” on Thursday, December 19, 2024. This 19-track album is a tribute to African heritage, unity, and resilience, inspired by the legacy of King JaJa of Opobo.

“King JaJa Disciple” is a vibrant blend of Afro-fusion, hip-hop, and traditional African rhythms. Dedicated to Africa’s cultural renaissance, the album aligns with the Agenda 2063+ vision, advocating for a united and prosperous Africa. The album’s lead single, “Da Cappadon,” released on December 6, 2024, sets the tone for this reflective and empowering body of work.

With beats crafted by renowned producers Mariobeatz, Fineboybeatz, and the late Daddy Ice, the album features collaborations with talented Abekulan Records artists such as Billy Bandana, Few Dragz, Ruchima, Pledge, and more.

Chief Priest and his Abekulan movement aim to inspire a cultural awakening through music and activism. This album celebrates Africa’s rich heritage while sparking conversations about its future.

Born John Junior Chinda in Port Harcourt, Nigeria, Chief Priest is an artist, cultural ambassador, and advocate for the African dream. He has represented African culture globally and remains a vibrant force for unity and progress through his record label, Abekulan Records.
