Nigerian next superstar, Neutral Face, unveiled his latest single and visual release, “Whyne Ur Buddy,” for the oblee season. Released on June 7, 2025, the track is a fiery blend of Afrobeats and Dancehall, designed to dominate playlists and dancefloors alike. Known for calling himself a “music machine,” Neutral Face proves once again that his creativity knows no bounds.

The birth of “Whyne Ur Buddy” was pure magic. After finishing another song in the studio, Neutral Face stumbled across a beat his producer had planned to keep. Unfazed, he claimed it on the spot, and within half an hour, the song was written and recorded. The speed and ease of the process reflect his natural gift for music. “Music lives in me, in my body, soul, and spirit. Music is my reality, and I live for it,” he says — a declaration that pulses through the track.

Listen to “Whyne Ur Buddy” on all platforms

Hailing from Sapele, Delta State, Neutral Face, born Odjugo Godbless, continues to shape a sound that is as spiritual as it is energetic. His music blends Afrobeats, hip-hop, and rap, creating a lane that’s deeply personal yet universally infectious. With “Whyne Ur Buddy,” he channels his lived experiences and creative fire into a song that feels spontaneous, celebratory, and irresistibly fresh.

Neutral Face’s bold artistic vision and boundless passion for storytelling make him one of the most exciting acts to watch. With “Whyne Ur Buddy,” he invites fans to experience not just a track, but the energy of an artist who was born to make music.
