Zlatan enlists Qing Madi for reflective single 'Demons'

Zanku Records head honcho Zlatan unveils his introspective new single, Demons, collaborating with the prodigious singer-songwriter Qing Madi. This evocative track serves as the second lead single from Zlatan’s highly anticipated third studio album, Symbol of Hope, slated for release on October 17, 2025. Produced with meticulous craftsmanship that amplifies Zlatan’s rhythmic intensity and Qing Madi’s ethereal vocal texture, Demons clocks in as a poignant fusion of streetwise Afrobeats and introspective soul, exploring the turbulent undercurrents of love and inner conflict. The song marks a pivotal moment in Zlatan’s evolving discography, inviting listeners to pre-save the forthcoming album and immerse themselves in its transformative narrative.

Demons intertwines Zlatan’s gravelly, commanding delivery with Qing Madi’s luminous harmonies, crafting a sonic landscape where pulsating basslines and intricate percussive layers underscore themes of vulnerability and redemption. The track delves into the metaphorical “demons” that haunt romantic entanglements, those relentless forces of doubt, passion, and heartbreak that test the bonds of devotion, delivered through lyrics that resonate with raw authenticity and emotional depth. This seamless partnership highlights the complementary artistry of two generations of Nigerian talent and exemplifies Zlatan’s commitment to innovation within Afrobeats.

As the precursor to Symbol of Hope, Demons builds intrigue for Zlatan’s third studio project, a comprehensive 18-track album executive produced by the Zanku himself, featuring an array of collaborators poised to redefine the genre’s boundaries. The album promises a thematic exploration of resilience, aspiration, and cultural pride, with Demons positioning itself as a cornerstone that encapsulates its hopeful ethos amid personal trials. Early listener engagement has been robust, with the singles rapidly ascending streaming charts and sparking widespread acclaim for their replay value and collaborative synergy.
