Kliensman Ignites a New Chapter With ‘Old Fire: New Flame’

Kliensman Ignites a New Chapter With ‘Old Fire: New Flame’

Afrobeats has always thrived on reinvention, and Kliensman’s latest project feels like a testament to that spirit. The Abuja-raised artist and producer, known for his seamless blend of Afrosounds, hip-hop, and pop, has just released his new EP Old Fire: New Flame.

The five-track project marks a turning point for an artist who has spent nearly a decade navigating the music industry’s highs and lows. From the hypnotic lead single “222” to the soulful “Ginger Me (PianoMix),” the EP captures a shift from youthful ambition to a more grounded purpose. A collaboration with BornFromPagne on “On Purpose” underlines the project’s ethos: growth, alignment, and clarity.

Kliensman first made noise in 2017 with “Macaroni,” a track that introduced his knack for marrying catchy melodies with thoughtful lyricism. Since then, he’s built a catalog that stretches from club-ready records to introspective ballads, carving out a reputation as one of the scene’s most versatile voices. But Old Fire: New Flame feels less like an experiment and more like a declaration.

At its core, the project is about resilience — the idea that the same spark that started the journey can still burn bright, even after years of challenges. In Kliensman’s case, the flame hasn’t just survived; it’s evolved into something sharper, steadier, and more intentional.

With Old Fire: New Flame, Kliensman positions himself not just as an artist chasing hits, but as a storyteller adding depth to the Afrobeats wave currently reshaping global sound.
