Ayra Starr Unveils Fiery Video For Wizkid Collab “Gimme Dat”

Afrobeats star Ayra Starr unveils the fiery music video for her sultry hit single Gimme Dat, featuring the legendary Wizkid. Co-directed by Annie Bercy and Ayra Starr herself, the striking, cinematic visuals elevate the Afro-R&B track’s summer-ready energy. Shot between London and Australia, the video opens with Ayra Starr dancing beside a sleek, vintage red car before cutting to scenes of Wizkid, flanked by dancers in dynamic motion.

As captivating as the track itself, the video shifts between dreamlike shots of Ayra spinning atop a life-sized vinyl and scenes of Wizkid commanding attention among dancers. From the slick choreography to the undeniable chemistry, the visuals perfectly capture the energy and allure of Gimme Dat.

The track has quickly surged to become Ayra Starr’s biggest release to date. It debuted at an impressive #6 on the Billboard U.S. Afrobeats Songs Chart — marking the highest debut ever for a female artist in Nigerian music history.

This epic collaboration between two of Africa’s biggest stars delivers an instantly addictive track destined to dominate summer playlists. Gimme Dat blends Ayra Starr’s confident lyricism and signature flair with Wizkid’s effortless charisma, all over a hypnotic rhythm that samples Wyclef Jean and Mary J. Blige’s iconic 911.
