Dice Ailes Returns with “Towa” for the Ride-or-Die Romantics

Nigerian music star Dice Ailes has made a comeback with his latest single, Towa, a log drum-infused love anthem that blends street rhythms with emotional sincerity.

Released on April 30, Towa sees Dice Ailes — born Shasha Damilola Alesh — at his most charismatic, delivering a bold and cheeky declaration of unconditional love. Against a backdrop of drums and breezy Afropop melodies, the singer paints a picture of romance that thrives in adversity, celebrating partners who stay loyal through thick and thin.

At its heart, Towa is less about dreamy fairytales and more about real-world devotion — the kind of love that endures, even without wealth or glamour. The song taps into the Amapiano wave while staying grounded in Nigerian rhythmic identity, showcasing Dice’s signature blend of lyrical wit and sonic innovation.

The single marks a fresh chapter for Dice Ailes, who began his musical journey at 15 and rose to fame with the 2016 hit Miracle after signing with Chocolate City Music. Known for collaborations with the likes of Falz and Tiwa Savage, Dice has built a reputation for catchy hooks, genre-blending sounds, and a unique fashion flair.

With accolades including a Rookie of the Year nomination at The Headies and a Best New Artist win at the SoundCity MVP Awards, Dice Ailes has also graced global stages like Afronation and the Global Citizen Festival, Towa signals a confident return to the spotlight, ready to win hearts and charts alike.
