Toby Grey Fuses Afrobeats, RnB & Amapiano With “I Got It”

Birmingham-based Nigerian singer-songwriter Toby Grey is back with a brand-new single, I Got It—a seamless blend of Afrobeats, RnB, and Amapiano that delivers an infectious energy sure to resonate with global audiences.

With its catchy hook, ‘You want it, I got it,’ the track embodies confidence and desire, effortlessly mixing playful lyricism with bold declarations. Lines like ‘What do you want? What do you need? Gucci or Fendi or Dior?’ highlight Toby Grey’s ability to balance material indulgence with an empowering message of self-assurance and owning one’s desires.

“I wanted to create something that speaks to that universal feeling of wanting and having it all,” Toby Grey shares. “This song is about confidence, freedom, and celebrating what you’ve got. It’s the energy of being unstoppable, and I feel like blending Afrobeats, RnB, and Amapiano gives it the perfect vibe.”

Toby Grey is no stranger to pushing creative boundaries. Since beginning her musical journey as a backup singer at 17, she has grown into an award-winning artist known for effortlessly blending Soul, RnB, Afrobeats, and Dancehall. Fluent in French and armed with a master’s degree, she brings intelligence and versatility to her craft, allowing her to connect with diverse audiences. Having collaborated with some of Nigeria’s finest musicians and international producers, she continues to solidify her place as a global force in music.
