The Nigerian-born, UK-based singer-songwriter, and fashion entrepreneur — David Henshaw aka Shasha Bundles has been attracting glimpse in the British fashion community for a while now, with his clothing apparel, Shasha Clothing, and now, he has stormed the industry with a clean video of his hot single, “Everything”

The budding fashion entrepreneur doubles as a musician, by bringing his art to life with ‘Light Up’ EP. He effortlessly blends various elements, to create a unique and refreshing sound rooted in Afrobeat mixed with UK drill. Inspired by the boundary-breaking UK drill of Tion Wayne, with huge heritage influence of Afrobeat innovator — Fela Aníkúlápó Kuti.

The widespread acceptance of his body of work, across borders from the UK to Nigeria on digital platforms and airplay is massive for a new talent.

However, his sound is heavily influenced by his root and has achieved such a good listening with the help of the African streaming service Boomplay, predicted to reach 200k streams before the end of 2024, based on his weekly streaming activity.

Every track is rooted in love from “Mine and Yours”, “Everything”, “Modern Fela”, “Baby Girl”, and “Favourite Girl”. This comes with the knowledge that there will always be an understanding of his craft and exploring the depths of what it takes to keep the flame alive in relationships, without sounding cliché and balancing the act of Love, possessed by CKay, as an emo-Afrobeats artist.
