Timaya, Flavour & Yung Alpha unite for new single 'ODESHI'

Timaya has established his reputation as one of Nigeria’s most consistent hitmakers, with a career spanning nearly two decades. Known for his unique sound, energetic delivery, and ability to evolve and adapt, the “Egberi Papa 1 of Bayelsa” maintains his industry dominance.

With his latest release, ODESHI, Timaya once again proves that he still has a lot in his arsenal. The new single sees him join forces with fellow music heavyweight Flavour and talented producer-singer Yung Alpha, who also handled the production. The collaboration brings a fusion of rich melodies, rhythms, and vibe.

As Timaya’s first official release of the year, ODESHI serves as a follow-up to Mase, setting the tone for what promises to be another remarkable year for the veteran hitmaker. The track is a powerful statement of resilience, confidence, and dominance, themes that have often defined Timaya’s music.

From early anthems like Dem Mama, Plantain Boy, and Bum Bum to more recent hits like Cold Outside and Sweet Us, Timaya has built an enviable catalogue of chart-topping records. His ability to stay relevant, adapt to new sounds, and consistently deliver bangers places him at the top of the industry’s elite. With ODESHI, he reaffirms his place in the upper echelon of African music, proving once again that he is here to stay.
