Lagos-based Afro-fusion virtuoso Rizzule continues to make headway as he drops his latest single, Wami. This euphoric track melds Afrobeat and amapiano, crafting an infectious rhythm that’s both dance-inducing and introspective.

Wami marks Rizzule’s debut release for 2024, building on the success of his three previous singles. This latest track is a masterful fusion of sound and sentiment. The lyrics are touching, singing about looking for lost love with sweet vocals, pulsating beats, and melodic hooks. The track creates an auditory experience that resonates with listeners globally. Its lyrical content also emphasizes the importance of honoring one’s origins.

As the lead single from his upcoming debut EP, Wami showcases Rizzule’s ability to bend genres and his knack for creating uplifting, cerebral tunes. Additionally, it testifies to his innovative approach, pushing the limits of African music while maintaining his Nigerian authenticity. Rizzule continues to make waves in the Afro-fusion scene, using his platform to inspire and entertain. Wami embodies this ethos, offering a spirited anthem for those navigating the delicate balance between achievement and humility.

“The essence of Wami is to honor where you come from,” says Rizzule. “Success is great, but it’s important to remember who helped you get there. This song is my way of expressing that feeling of coming home and being proud of where it all started.”
